Psychotherapy Services

Compassionate Psychotherapy and Counselling for Mental Health

We provide psychotherapy to clients who live in the province of Ontario, Canada.
All psychotherapy sessions are held online via a secure therapy platform.

Free Consultation

For all new clients, we offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to provide you more information about our specialities and services. Also, this is a perfect time for you to ask any questions and to decide whether you would like Lenka or Liz to join you on your journey towards a holistic health.

Cost for Service

Sessions are 60-minutes long (e.g., 9:00am-10:00am). The standard fee for one hour of psychotherapy varies on the psychotherapist you choose. We accept credit card and e-transfer. For individuals who can not financially afford the standard rates, we offer a reduced rate (limited, as available).

Insurance

Psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP (the Ontario Health Insurance Plan). When checking if your insurance provider covers psychotherapy, please be sure to check that you can receive psychotherapy from a ‘Registered Psychotherapist’ or ‘RP’. For insurance purposes, we provide a receipt after the session has been paid for.

Individual Therapy (Adults)

For adults and seniors, we offer individual therapy using the therapy styles listed in the “Meet the Therapists” page. Typically, individuals start off with weekly sessions for sessions 1-3. Afterwards, sessions are held every two weeks. As progress is made and distress decreases, individuals normally move their sessions to every 4-6 weeks as “check in” sessions. Please note that this can differ based on the individual, their preference, and their presenting concerns.

Individual Therapy (Teenagers)

When doing therapy with teenagers, we use the same therapy styles listed in the “Meet the Therapists” page, however in a more simplistic and age-relevant manner. For teenagers, weekly sessions for the first 4-6 sessions tend to be most helpful. Afterwards, moving sessions to every two weeks allows more time to practice skills and coping strategies. Please note that this can differ based on the individual, their preference, and their presenting concerns.
